CAPE TOWN: South Africa declared their second innings on 224 for seven on the third day of the second Test against Sri Lanka at Newlands on Wednesday. Sri Lanka were set 507 to win.

Scores: South Africa 392 and 224 for seven declared in 51.5 overs (Dean Elgar 55, Suranga Lakmal 4-69).

Sri Lanka 110 all out.
