KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Education and literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar Tuesday said that Sindh education department would provide space in government colleges and well reputed professional institutions so that they might impart high quality education free of cost to poor students.

This he said while talking to Justice (R) Qazi Khalid Ali vice chancellor Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Law University Karachi here in his office, said a statement.

Secretary Colleges Dr. Riaz Ahmed Memon and Director General Colleges Dr. Nasir Ansar also attended the meeting.

Minister for education directed director general to provide space in certain college in Karachi to students of Shaheed Zulfikar Law university so that the classes on law might be started there.

Sindh Education Department was ready to provide class rooms in government colleges to the educational institutions, having good reputation, to enable them to utilize such space to teach the poor students of the government colleges, he added.

Meanwhile the newly assigned Secretary for schools, Jamal Mustafa Syed held a meeting with minister for education in his office and discussed various matters pertaining to education department.

Curriculum head education department dr. Fouzia Khan also met minister for education and literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar and briefed him about steps and legislation regarding free education in the province.

Director Colleges Dr. Riaz Ahmed Memon informed the Minister that he would visit the government colleges all over Sindh and monitor on ground situation and present a detailed report to the minister for education.
