While addressing a lawyers' gathering at District Dar Multan here Thursday, he said that the parliament could not be run without the presence of the Leader of the House.
He said Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood should also come into the Parliament to handle the legislative issues by themselves.
He said that the opposition was the backbone of any democratic system and therefore the government should take it on board before launching any strategy.
He appealed to all democratic parties to get united on single platform while keeping national interest on priority.
Later on, a lawyer shouted at Javed Hashmi when he was concluding his speech. However, other lawyers intervened and took Hashmi away from the venue.
