14 Dec, 2016

ISLAMABAD: A lower court of Islamabad adjourned hearing of the case regarding non-bailable arrest warrants of former dictator Pervez Musharraf and confiscation of his property till December 22.

The court also summoned the Deputy Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Islamabad on next date of hearing.

Additional Sessions Judge Pervaiz Qadir Memon heard the Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case against Musharraf.

The counsel for the plaintiff argued that the police and other departments concerned had failed to implement the arrest warrants against Musharraf and court orders to confiscate his property due to his long absence in attending case proceedings.

However, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Shoaib on behalf of the DC Islamabad and SP City Zubair Sheikh submitted their replies in the case.
