Delegation of Private Schools Management calls on Minister Education

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that if the students refuse to administer polio drops in school timings on the desire of their parents not only their admissions will be cancelled but appropriate action according to the law will be taken against such parents.

This he said while talking to a delegation of All Sindh Private Schools Management here in his office on Wednesday, said a statement.

Khalid Shah, Faisal Khan Zai, Aftab Soomoro, Ashraf bin Muhammad and other representatives of the Association were present on the occasion.

The Minister requested the office bearers of private schools management to not allow any government teacher to teach in their institutions in school timings as it was a violation of the rules and if he found anyone doing so, action would not only be taken against the teacher but the institute would also be brought to task. Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar added, ' It is right time to develop an atmosphere of trust between the government and the private sector because together we will be able to achieve the target of 100 percent literacy rate in the province '.

The minister also asked them to cooperate with the government in vaccinations of the students in their respective educational institutions. Only a combine move could eradicate Polio, he added.

The Minister Education suggested them to hire educated, trained and experienced teaching staff for their institutions so that the standard of the education might be enhanced.

On this occasion the members of the delegation, while assuring their cooperation requested him to resolve their issues on priority basis.
