Dacoit killed in police encounter near Natha Khan Bridge

KARACHI: A suspected bandit was killed in an encounter with police in the limits of Shahra-e-Faisal police Station on Tuesday night, the police said.

According to a police spokesman the suspect identified as Musharaf (40) alias Mushrafi was killed in the encounter near Natha Khan Bridge.

The suspect was proclaimed offender in the case (FIR no. 408/2006 Under Sections of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) 147/148/149/109/337 A(1)337 H(II)) registered at Gulistan-e-Johar Police Station.

The accused was a close relative of Liaquat alias Tension, a notorious target killer who was killed in a police raid in 2013 in Rabia City, Gulistan-e-Johar.
