09 Dec, 2016

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Friday expressed full confidence in Supreme Court (SC) proceedings in Panama case claiming that PML-N will get the clean chit.

Speaking to media outside the supreme court he said the government will fully respect the decision of the apex court.

The statement of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) lawyer Naeem Bukhari disgraced the sanctity of the Supreme Court with his statement that they will boycott the commission, he added.

He is repeating same points already discussed in the Supreme Court, he added.

He advised Imran Khan to reconsider Panama Papers case which was initiated on baseless allegations and suggested him to withdraw the petition.

The minister added that PML-N has provided solid and authentic proofs with documentary evidence in the court which unveiled real facts.

He commented that in past PTI adopted the practice of putting baseless allegation on PML-N as to mislead the nation which later proved false.
