NAB sources said that former agency surgeon Dr. Daud along with former accountant of health department, were arrested for alleged embezzlement in funds.
According to NAB, Dr. Daud embezzled government funds worth millions of rupees during his posting in Mohmand Agency while Nisar khan, the former accountant of Mohmand Agency's health department was said to be his partner in crime. They both also misused the health center funds.
Further investigation was underway from both the accused.
