Zimbabwe bat first against Sri Lanka

BULAWAYO: Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first in Sunday's triangular series final against Sri Lanka at Queens Sports Club.

After sneaking into the final at the expense of the West Indies following Friday's rain-affected victory, the hosts made three changes to their side.

Batsman Tarisai Musakanda was handed his international debut, while Malcolm Waller and Brian Vitori made their first appearances of the series as Chamu Chibhabha, Brian Chari and Chris Mpofu all missed out.

Sri Lanka made two changes from their last game, which saw them beat the West Indies by one run, bringing in Dasun Shanaka and Jeffrey Vandersay for Shehan Jayasuriya and Nuwan Pradeep.
