ADELAIDE: South Africa were 100 for two and trailing Australia by 24 runs at dinner on the third day of the third day-night Test in Adelaide on Saturday.
Stephen Cook was unbeaten on 43 with JP Duminy not out five.
Usman Khawaja earlier topscored with 145 off 308 balls spanning three days in Australia's first innings 383.
