Matters regarding mega Saaf Pani Project were discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that clean water was a basic right of every citizen and the Punjab government had allocated billions of rupees for Saaf Pani Programme. He said that potable water was essential for human health and Saaf Pani Programme would also be an example of transparency, standard and speed like other projects of the Punjab government.
He said that implementation of this programme would help control diseases spread by polluted water. He said that this Saaf Pani Programme was directly linked with human health and would be implemented in a professional manner with the skill and expertise of the German company.
Provincial Minister for Housing Tanveer Aslam Malik, Chairman Punjab Saaf Pani Company South Muhammad Kashif MPA, Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development, German consultant and concerned officials attended the meeting.
