Mexico's finance ministry maintains 2016-17 growth forecasts

MEXICO CITY: Mexico's government has maintained its forecast for economic growth for this year and next, deputy finance minister Vanessa Rubio said on Wednesday, after data showed domestic consumption remained strong in the third quarter.

Rubio said the government still expected the economy to grow by between 2.0-2.6 percent in 2016 and between 2.0 and 3.0 percent in 2017.
