Pakistan always talk for regional peace: Qayyum

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Lt General (Retd) Abdul Qayyum has said Pakistan wanted good relations with all neighboring countries and always talked about regional peace.

Speaking in a PTV programme, he said Pakistan is a developed country and has good infrastructure as compared to India. China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would bring economic revolution in the country.

He said Pakistan has highlighted Kashmir cause at every international forum including United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Kashmiri people had rendered supreme sacrifices for their indigenous movement to make it successful.

Abdul Qayyum said Indian government is trying to divert attention of the world community and its people from atrocities and barbarism on innocent Kashmiris in occupied valley.

He said Modi government had faced severe internal criticism due to his wrong policies regarding Kashmir issue. Modi government has lied of surgical strikes in Pakistan.
