KARACHI: The Sindh government in exercise of its powers conferred under section 144 (6) Cr.P.C has imposed ban on pillion riding from November 20 to 21 on account of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A).

According to the notification issued on Thursday, the ban on pillion riding will not be applicable to women, children below the age of 12 years, senior citizens, journalists, personnel of law enforcement agencies/security agencies in uniform and employees of the essential services.
