Polling for reserved seat for woman remains peaceful in Sialkot

SIALKOT: Polling remained peaceful, transparent and impartial for elections on five reserved seats of female members of Municipal Corporation Sialkot here on Tuesday.

As six female candidates were contesting for these five reserved seats.

The chairmen of all 24 urban union councils of Sialkot city cast their votes during the election.

The PML-N candidates on all the reserved seats of labour, youth councillors, technocrat and non-Muslims already have been elected unopposed on these seats.

Polling was also held for elections of members of Zila Council Sialkot on 15 reserved seats for female members, three seats for Kissan councillors, one seat of youth councillor, five seats of non-Muslim members.

PML-N President Sialkot District Idrees Ahmed Bajwa was already elected as member of Zila Council Sialkot on reserved seat of technocrat.
