Japan PM Abe told MOF's Asakawa to closely watch forex

TOKYO: Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told a senior finance ministry official to closely monitor the currency market around the presidential election in the United States, Kyodo News reported on Tuesday.

Abe met Masatsugu Asakawa, vice finance minister for international affairs at the finance ministry, on Tuesday, Kyodo said.
