Hong Kong stocks end morning higher

HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks rose in line with a regional advance Monday morning as the FBI's decision not to further probe market favourite Hillary Clinton over her email use, giving a boost to her presidential bid.

The Hang Seng index added 0.46 percent, or 103.85 points, to 22,746.47 by the break.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.26 percent, or 8.24 points, to 3,133.56 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.14 percent, or 2.81 points, to 2,069.96.
