Former British Open squash champion Roshan Khan, father of former world champion Jehangir Khan, died here on Friday after a protracted illness at a hospital.
Roshan Khan, 79, had suffered a brain haemorrhage and was in a coma at PNS Shifa hospital. His burial will take place at Fauji graveyard near Gora Qabristan.
Roshan Khan won the British Open Championship in 1957 and had the honour of producing and preparing two great squash legends in his sons Jehangir and Torsam Khan. The deceased played a key role in the development and promotion of squash in Pakistan Navy and imparted coaching to several budding youngsters at Navy's Fleet Club.
