President General Pervez Musharraf said on Monday Pakistan and Yemen have vast opportunities to reinforce their relationship in various fields through increased mutual co-operation.
He was talking to Abdulaziz Abdulghani, Chairman Majlis-e-Shura, who called on him at the Republican Palace.
Musharraf said the two countries enjoy strong political ties and greater co-operation in economic, cultural and security fields and the visit will provide further impetus to their relations. Yemeni Defence Minister Abdullah Ali Aliwa, Interior Minster Major General Rashad al-Alimi and Minister for Oil and Minerals Rasheed Ba-Raba also called on the President.
