Train stopover notified

Pakistan Railways has decided to provide a two-minute stoppage to 326-down mixed passenger train at Messon Kallar station with immediate effect.
According to a spokesman of the Railways, 325-up/326-down mixed passenger train, 323-up/324-down mixed passenger, 221-up/222-down Dachi express, 207-up/208-down Rachna Express will also have a two-minute stoppage each at Qila Sattar Shah.
This decision would come in to force from May 29 and will remain in force till June 01, 2004.
Meanwhile, General Manager (Operations) Pakistan Railways, Aurangzeb Khan has directed the administration to complete record of every employee before his retirement to facilitate him or her in clearance of their dues.
He also announced that railway employees could retain possession of railway houses till six months after the date of retirement instead of three months.
This additional three months would be approved by the divisional superintendent while earlier this authority was with the general manager.
He expressed these views while speaking at a function in which 28 retired employees were given cheques worth Rs 5 million as their dues after retirement.
