Rawalpindi police have started the physical tests for the recruitment of 440 persons in the Highway Patrolling Force (HPF)of Punjab Police, including 360 posts of constables, 40 wireless operators and 40 drivers.
To make the highways peaceful and avoid the dacoities and robberies, the Punjab government has decided to constitute a Highway Patrolling Force for which the recruitment has been started.
Rawalpindi police have received 4,180 applications against the total 440 posts, out of which 3,440 persons have declared fit to appear in the physical tests.
After completion of the physical tests, the successful candidates will appear in the written test for the posts of constables, wireless operators and drivers.
