School timings changed due to dengue threat

According to spokesman of the Federal Directorate of Education Prof Waqar Ashraf, 420 federal schools and colleges will follow new timings from October 1, reported a private news channel on Friday.

The educational institutions will commence classes from 8.30 instead of 8 am. The classes in the evening shift will continue to follow previous schedule, the spokesman added.

The institutions have been instructed to strictly ensure that the students wear full sleeves and trousers.
