Pakistan future links with Balochistan: Nawab Zehri

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has said that the future of Pakistan is linked with Balochistan.

If anybody says Balochistan can live without Pakistan, it will be absolutely wrong, he added.

Speaking at a seminar titled Prospects of Peace and Prosperity in Balochistan, organized by Balochistan government, DEVOTE Balochistan and University of Balochistan here on Monday. Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri said that our forefathers had signed the accord with Pakistan. We own it. Our recognition is Pakistan, he added.

Chief Minister Balochistan offered the audience to have a visit of entire Balochistan. Balochistan is comprising on tribes and you would find all tribes with Pakistan, he said.

He said that our disgruntled friends should come on dialogue table and we were always ready to hold dialogue with them within the framework of Pakistan.

He said that we had differences on many issues and the dialogue is the best option to get positive result as saying that negotiation with bullets yield no results.

Referring to China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri said that Gwadar was lying abandoned for centuries and now it is the best opportunity to develop Gwadar and Balochistan. Economic war is underway across the world, he said.

Similarly, he said that the people of China a couple of decades back were riding bicycles but now their bicycles were changed into vehicles because of having a strong economy.

There should be no politics on CPEC as it would benefit the province and the country, he added.
