Nawabshah remains closed as a sign of mourning for Peshawar victims

NAWABSHAH: Nawabshah city on Wednesday remained closed on the first day of three-day of mourning, people from various walks of life strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Army Public school, Peshawar.

People were seen grieved over the unfortunate and tragic incident, which claimed large number of innocent lives.

All business centers, markets, shopping centers and shops remained closed, however, traffic plying between Karachi, Hyderabad, Sanghar, Moro and other destinations continued as usual but with thin number of passengers. Banks, offices and educational institutions remained open with thin attendance.

Local political figures strongly condemned the cowardly attack on innocent students by terrorist.

Meanwhile, Namaz-e-Janaza in absentia was arranged under the auspices of Jamaat-e-Islami that was attended by hundreds of citizens and school children.
