WAPDA launches operation against defaulters

The supply of electric power to many departments of the Punjab government has been cut, a private news channel reported on Saturday.

Punjab Public Service Commission, Agriculture Department Director General Public Relations, Transport House, Railways officer's flats and Railways Colony are on the hit list.

The departments are defaulters of more than Rs80 million.

On the other hand, MEPCO disconnected the power supply to DG Khan, Tonsa Sharif, Jampur, Rajinpur and more than 90 other water supply schemes.
