Justice Jillani takes oath as acting ECP Chief

ISLAMABAD; Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chauhdry administrated the oath of Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, as Acting Chief Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in a simple but dignified ceremony.

Members of ECP, Judges of Supreme Court, prominent lawyers and law officers attended the ceremony.

It is mention here that ECP Chief Justice (Retd) Fkharuddin G. Ebrahimwas is going abroad to attend a conference relating to the electoral reforms.

Meanwhile, Justice Jillani will act as ECP Chief during the period, Justice (Retd) Fkharuddin G. Ebrahim, Chief ECP remains abroad.
