A three-judge bench of the apex court comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed resumed the hearing in the case regarding misusage of IB's secret funds by political parties.
On Thursday, when the court resumed hearing of the case, the Chief Justice directed the Attorney General (AG) Irfan Qadir to argue on the usage of IB's secret funds by some political parties in the past.
However, the AG stated that he could not argue on the report submitted before the bench during the last hearing as he could not get hold of that report.
The CJ remarked that it was a sealed report that was why the court could not provide the copy to him.
Later, the court directed the registrar office to allow the AG to go through the sealed report; however it did not allow handing over a copy of that report and adjourned hearing for two weeks.
