Pakistan's cases soar to 181,088, death toll reaches 3590

Pakistan's coronavirus tally has jumped to 181,088 while the country has recorded 3590 fatalities so far.

The country has also recorded 71,458 recoveries. Sindh has reported the highest number of cases with 69,628. The death toll in the province stands at 1,089, while 36,278 patients have also recovered.

Punjab has recorded second highest number of cases with 66,943 and 1,435 deaths. The province has reported 19,100 recoveries.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 21,997 cases and 821 deaths. 6,536 patients have also recovered from the virus in the province.

Islamabad has 10,912 infections and reported 101 fatalities. The capital has seen 4,681 patients recovered from the virus. Balochistan has reported over 9,000 cases and 102 deaths.

Meanwhile, Gilgit-Baltistan's coronavirus cases have climbed to 1,288, with 22 deaths. 845 COVID-19 cases and 348 deaths have been reported from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
