Similarly collection of sales tax in December, 2019 stood at Rs 1.37 billion as against the collection of Rs 1.04 billion during last year registering growth of 31 percent.

Considerable chunk of this collection was generated through liquidation of court cases; encashment of ripe securities and timely auction of confiscated/seized goods particularly Iranian Diesel seized during anti smuggling operations in the area.

MCC Gwadar contributes major share in total revenue collection in the region during the period. According to the official sources this tremendous achievement occurred owing to the teamwork under the dynamic and motivational leadership of Muhammad Yakoob Mako, Collector MCC Gwadar.
