KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling steady on Friday, and traders forecast it to gain ground on the back of inflows from exporters of commodities like coffee, gold, cocoa and tea.

At 0913 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,665/3,675, compared to Thursday's close of 3,668/3,678.
