The shilling at 3,690/3,700, same level as Friday's close.

KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling was stable on Monday but traders said it was likely to come under pressure from demand for dollars by merchandise importers.

At 0926 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,690/3,700, same level as Friday's close.
