NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling weakened on Tuesday due to uptick in end month dollar demand from the energy and manufacturing sectors, traders said.

At 1050 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 102.35/55 per dollar, compared with 102.00/20 at Monday's close.
