ISLAMABAD: Karachi Electric (KE) has restored the supply from around 1,700 feeders, out of its 1800 to ensure smooth transmission of electricity in the provincial capital.

According to a report submitted by the K-Electric to National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), supply from around 1,700 feeders, out of 1800 was restored, said a statement issued here Wednesday. The efforts were underway to restore complete supply of power, it added.

The report was submitted by the KE to NEPRA after it took notice of power breakdown in Karachi due to torrential rains.
