French wheat crop ratings stable in week to June 10

PARIS:* Farm office FranceAgriMer estimated in a weekly report on Friday that 80% of French soft wheat crops were in good or excellent condition in the week ending June 10, unchanged from a week earlier.

* That compared with a score of 76% for soft wheat crops at the same stage last year.

* For barley, FranceAgriMer rated 74% of the winter crop as good/excellent, unchanged from a week earlier, while the equivalent spring barley rating declined to 87% from 88%.

* For grain maize, the good/excellent score was stable at 82%.
