HAMBURG: South Korea's Major Feedmill Group (MFG) purchased about 60,000 tonnes of soymeal in a private deal on Monday without issuing an international tender, European traders said on Wednesday.
The group made the purchase at around $369.50 a tonne c&f including a surcharge for additional port unloading, traders said. Origin was unclear.
It was for shipment in the full month of September. Seller was believed to be trading house Cargill.
