PARIS: European Union soft wheat exports for the 2018/19 season that started last July had reached 19.1 million tonnes by June 2, down 1pc versus a year earlier, European Commission data showed on Monday.
EU 2018/19 barley exports had fallen 21pc to 4.2 million tonnes compared with the same period a year ago.
EU 2018/19 maize imports were at 22.3 million tonnes, up 38pcpercent versus a year ago.
