CAIRO: Egypt will have procured 3 million tonnes of local wheat from this year's harvest by the end of Monday, the agriculture ministry spokesman said.
Spokesman Mohamed el-Kersh said he expects farmers to sell more than 3.6 million tonnes of wheat to the government this season, which began in April.
