PARIS: European Union soft wheat exports for the 2018/19 season that started in July had reached 18.4 million tonnes by May 26, down 2pc versus a year earlier, European Commission data showed on Monday.
EU 2018/19 barley exports had fallen 24pc to 4.0 million tonnes compared with the same period a year ago.
EU 2018/19 maize imports were at 21.6 million tonnes, up 36pc versus a year ago.
