Ex-captain questions Pakistan’s experimentation policy after series loss

After suffering a humiliating 3-0 One Day International (ODI) series loss against Australia, Pakistan's former captain-turned-cricket commentator Ramiz Raja has questioned the cricket team’s experimentation policy.

“Pakistan should get this series out of their system as soon as possible, after the nothing positive happened for the team in this series, many pundits are also thinking what Pakistan got from this experimentation,” said Raja, at Ramiz Speaks.

Aussie skipper Aaron Finch just missed a record hundred while Adam Zampa took four wickets and Pat Cummins claimed three as Australia demolished Pakistan by 80 runs in the third one-day international in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Pakistan without their regular skipper Sarfraz Ahmed and star players such as Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan, entered the series with an intent to test the bench strength before the World Cup, as it introduced youngsters such as speedster Mohammad Hasnain and wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan.

With the home series already lost, Pakistan would aim to restore some pride in the remaining two ODI’s scheduled to played on March 29 and 31 at Dubai.
