US Cash Grains-Interior corn bids steady to firm; sales slow

CHICAGO: Spot basis bids for corn were steady to firm at interior elevators, processors and ethanol plants early on Wednesday, grain dealers said.

But the corn basis weakened at river terminals after firming on Tuesday.

The soybean basis was steady around the interior and mixed along rivers.

Farmer sales were not showing much interest in booking sales of either commodity at current price levels, an Iowa dealer said.

Snowy conditions around the region also slowed grain movement.
