LONDON: The global zinc market deficit narrowed to 43,400 tonnes in October from a revised deficit of 46,900 tonnes in September, data from the International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG) showed on Tuesday.
The September data was revised after it gave an initial estimate for a deficit of 54,700 tonnes.
In the first 10 months of the year the zinc market had a 301,000 tonne deficit, compared with a deficit of 400,000 tonnes in the same period last year.
