Akhuwat University being established: Dr Saqib

Chairman Akhuwat Dr Amjad Saqib has said that adequate efforts were being made for the promotion of education to facilitate underprivileged families. Talking to Business Recorder on Wednesday evening at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) he disclosed that under the programme we are establishing Akhuwat University which will be first free university of Pakistan with quality higher education. Dr Saqib disclosed that the mega project university will be accomplished at Rs45 crore and will be operational in August adding that development work on the project is in full swing.
Akhuwat is operating multiple free educational institutions with success where students from underprivileged families are taken good care of said. Under its educational initiatives comprise of Akhuwat schools, college, Akhuwat first Faisalabad Institute of research, science and technology and management was the main feature of our education programme he said. Dr Saqib further stated that Akhuwat uses its entire donation in developing long term solutions towards creating a self-reliant and educated society. He disclosed that clothes donated by people from all over Pakistan are brought at Akhuwat "Cloth Bank" where they are carefully sorted, repaired, washed and packed by a team of "Khawaja Siras" (transgender).
