The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has warned defaulting officials, who failed to file income tax returns for Tax Year 2013, to ensure return filing along with penalty by June 16, 2014. According to the FBR instructions to the field formations here on Thursday, in continuation of FBR letter through which non-filers FBR officers were directed to file their Income Tax Returns for the Tax Year 2013 by June 16, 2014, officers are reminded to ensure strict compliance of the FBR directions to file returns along with payment of penalty u/s 182 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
The Compliance report may be forwarded to FBR by 19.06.2014 on the specified format. The performance allowance of the defaulting officers as on June 17, 2014 shall be discontinued with immediate effect for a minimum period of three months.
