SEOUL: Korea Southern Power Co Ltd (KOSPO) bought a total of 580,000 tonnes of coal for loading in the third and fourth quarter of 2018 via a tender that closed on March 19, a source from the utility said on Tuesday.
The utility purchased the coal from Republic of South Africa and Australia, the source said, without giving a price or supplier details.
