LAHORE: Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited (AGTL) has staged a significant financial turnaround, posting a net profit of Rs1.658 billion in the nine months ended September 30, 2026, against a net loss of Rs270 million in the corresponding period last year, as a sharp increase in tractor sales drove revenue and profitability higher.

According to the statistics released by company, AGTL’s operating revenue surged 79 percent to Rs17.511 billion from Rs9.761 billion a year earlier, while tractor sales rose 60 percent to 6,587 units from 4,126 units, reflecting a substantial improvement in business activity.

AGTL produced 6,967 tractors during the nine-month period, up 39 percent from 5,005 units in the corresponding period of 2025.

The increase in sales and revenue translated into a strong improvement in gross profitability. Gross profit climbed 159 percent to Rs4.477 billion from Rs1.729 billion in the same period last year, an increase of Rs2.748 billion.

The bottom line also registered a substantial recovery, with the company recording a positive swing of Rs1.928 billion in net profitability. Earnings per share stood at Rs28.61, compared with a loss per share of Rs4.65 in the corresponding period last year.

Commenting on the results, Yasin Seker, Chief Executive Officer of Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited, said the nine-month performance reflected stronger operational momentum across the business and the impact of disciplined execution.

“While we remain mindful of the broader operating environment, our focus continues to be on serving our customers effectively, strengthening operational efficiency and building a business capable of delivering sustainable performance over the long term,” he said.

The results highlight a marked improvement in AGTL’s operational and financial performance, with higher production and sales supporting revenue growth and a return to profitability.
