KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where three ships, Spirit of Bertram, PAC Sharon and Portofino carrying Container, Steel Coil and Gasoline, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Marginal Wharf-2 and FOTCO oil Terminal on 19th Oct.
Meanwhile three more ships, MYD Ningbo, BSG Bimini and Edge Galaxy carrying Container and Palm oil also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a container ship ‘Southern Unicorn’ left the port on today morning, while four more ships, Spirit of Bertram, MYD Ningbo, Jaador and Western Carnation are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Cargo volume of 118,660 tones comprising 118,660 tones imports cargo and 19,923 export cargo carried in 1,200 Containers (300 TEUs Imports & 900 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours .
There are 15 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, MYD Ningbo, BSG Bimini, Tan Binh-234, Ardmore Chinook and African Finfoot scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice, Palm oil and Coal are expected to take berths QICT, MW-1, LCT and PIBT respectively on Tuesday 20th October, 2026.
