KARACHI: Global lithium battery manufacturer-itel Energy is expanding its footprint in Pakistan’s evolving solar energy market with a strategy spanning residential energy storage, commercial and industrial applications, and lifestyle products.

By integrating advanced battery technology, hybrid inverters, scalable energy storage systems, and mobility solutions, the company aims to address the country’s growing demand for reliable, efficient, and flexible energy solutions while strengthening its market position.

Tapping into the surging demand for renewable energy, itel Energy showcased its latest solar and energy storage solutions at the 22nd Solar Pakistan Expo in Karachi. The country’s energy storage market is already witnessing significant growth as declining battery costs encourage households and businesses to adopt solar-plus-storage systems.

Highlighting the launch of its Gen-2 residential battery range and strategic cooperation with REPT BATTERO, the company plans to expand into the commercial and industrial energy storage market.

Itel Energy has also introduced its new-generation residential battery range in 2.5kW and 5kW capacities. The batteries feature REPT’s Royal Series 100% Grade-A cells and an intelligent battery management system designed to enhance performance, safety and operational life.

Expanding beyond residential applications, itel Energy announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with strategic partners to develop dedicated C&I energy solutions. The initiative will be supported by the company’s new-generation 10kWh C&I battery, which uses Grade-A cells and is designed for scalable energy storage applications.

The planned solutions will also cover project delivery, including energy audits, installation and monitoring, alongside AI-driven energy management to optimise electricity consumption and reduce peak-demand costs.

In addition to residential and industrial energy solutions, itel Energy presented its broader Power Series ecosystem, connecting portable power stations with electric bikes and smartphones through co-marketing initiatives. The company aims to integrate energy solutions into everyday consumer needs, including portable power and electric mobility.
