ISLAMABAD: As many as 26 organizations and 21 professionals were honoured for their contributions to workplace health, safety and environmental standards at the Pakistan Safety Council’s (PSC) 9th Annual HS&E Excellence Conference and Awards 2026, held at Karachi.
Governor Sindh Syed Nehal Hashmi, who attended as chief guest, emphasized the importance of workplace safety and appreciated PSC’s efforts to promote a strong safety culture across Pakistan.
The event received 67 corporate nominations and 38 individual nominations, reflecting growing participation in workplace safety initiatives.
Established in 2010, the Pakistan Safety Council continues to promote safety awareness, professional development and best practices across industries.
The conference underscored the need to treat workplace safety not merely as a regulatory requirement but as a fundamental responsibility for protecting lives and ensuring sustainable industrial growth.
