ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has activated an official helpline 0303-5099581 for its Pre-Departure Facilitation Desk at Islamabad International Airport to help passengers with travel documents, immigration-related queries and other travel guidance.
An FIA official told on Sunday that passengers could contact the helpline during office hours, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, to obtain information and guidance before travelling abroad.
The official said the helpline had been introduced to help passengers check their travel documents, understand immigration requirements and avoid unnecessary problems at the airport.
He said passengers could also visit the FIA Pre-Departure Facilitation Desk at Islamabad International Airport for document checking and guidance.
The official clarified that 0300-5805760 was not the official helpline number of the FIA Pre-Departure Facilitation Desk.
He advised passengers to use only the official number, 0303-5099581, for assistance and information related to travel documents and immigration matters.
The official said the FIA was committed to providing timely guidance to passengers and making their travel process easier, safer and free from unnecessary difficulties.
He added that the facilitation desk was working to assist travellers before departure and help them complete the required travel and immigration procedures without confusion.
