The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday announced a seven-member squad for the upcoming Hong Kong Sixes 2026, naming fast bowler Mohammad Abbas Afridi as the team captain.

The six-a-side tournament will take place at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong from October 30 to November 1. The Pakistani contingent is scheduled to depart for Hong Kong on October 28.

A total of 12 teams are participating in the three-day event, divided into four pools of three teams each. Pakistan has been placed in Pool C.

Pakistan squad comprises Mohammad Abbas Afridi (c), Abdul Samad, Ahmed Daniyal, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Khawaja Nafay, Muhammad Shahzad, and Saad Masood.

Last year on November 9, Pakistan lifted the Hong Kong Super Sixes title under Abbas’ leadership after a dominant performance against Kuwait, capping off a thrilling campaign with a commanding victory in the final.
